Lentil Sandwich Spread
- 1 cup cooked lentils, any type
- 4 clove garlic; pressed
- 1 tsp. ground coriander
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Combine all of the ingredients in a small pan. Cook on low
to simmer for 5 minutes. Remove into a container and chill
for at least one hour.For this sandwich, try spreading it on
flat bread and sprinkling very lightly with minced parsley.
