Italian Garden Sauce
Yield: 9 Cups
1 lb Italian sausage; browned .. & drained 8 c Diced peeled tomatoes 2 md Green peppers; diced 1 lg Onion; diced 1 Or 2 cloves garlic; minced 1 pt Tomato sauce 1 1/2 c Water 2 tb Dried parsley flakes 1 tb Dried oregano 1 tb Dried basil 1 tb Italian sseasoning 1 ts Salt Cooked pasta
Cook, uncovered, until desired thickness, about 2 1/2 hours. Serve over pasta.
Makes about 9 cups. |
