Homemade Berry Syrup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 3/4 cups Apple Juice
2 bananas, peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 cup fresh raspberries or frozen raspberries, thawed
1/2 cup fresh blueberries or frozen blueberries, thawed
Combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg and apple juice and cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in fruits. Serve immediately.
