IMBOLC DEW
The following is a recipe for Imbolc Dew. Imbolc Dew is a drink that is shared during ritual, as a celebration that winter is nearly over (despite the fact that this is the coldest time of the year!), and that life is returning to the land. As is the case for all food and drink shared at ritual, it is important to leave a small offering to the Divine presence who you have honoured with your work.
Ingredients:
- 1 litre fresh spring water
- 1/2 cup rose water (this can be obtained from middle eatern specialty
shops) - 1 teaspoon Imbolc dew (collect this by placing saucers covered with
rose petals out on a cold evening, then gathering the dew collected
in the saucers with the first of the morning light - 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey.
Method:
Mix all ingredients together, bless and serve
