This is where incenses and oils that begin with the letter R will go.

Rosehip Seed oil (Rosa mosqueta)

Rosehip seed oil is the ONLY vegetable oil which naturally contains
trans-retinoic acid (vitamin A) which has been shown to help influence the
development of skin cells in laboratory studies. Rosehip oil is high in both
Linoleic Fatty Acid (Omega 6) and Linolenic Fatty Acids (Omega 3). It is one of the
best oils for use on dry, mature skin, as it is made up of between 75-80%
essential fatty acids, which feed and nourish the skin.
It has been used to help heal accute dermatitis, dry eczema, burns
(including sunburn and radiation burns), can help to reduce fine lines and
wrinkles and has also been used to diminish the appearance of scars (both old and
new). It's high absorbtion rate means it penetrates the skin quickly and does
not  leave you feeling greasy after applying. Rosehip seed oil is said to help
accelerate normal cellular growth in the epidermis without any side effects.
Add it to your skincare regime today!

In summary, Rosehip oil contains: Essential Fatty Acids [namely oleic
(15-20%), linoleic (44-50%) and linolenic (30-35%)] Carotenoids Flavonoids
Vitamin C Vitamin A (retinoic acid) Vitamin E

Homemade Rose Water and Rose Oil

   Ingredients and Instructions
You can make rose water and extracts (or any other herb) at home. Take a large pot, insert a clean brick or rock, fill with rose petals or herbs or whatever around the brick. Cover with water and place a small glass dish on top of the brick. On top of the pot put a stainless bowl and fill with ice. Simmer about three hours depending how many petals or herbs you have, replacing the ice as needed. The bowl with the ice will condense the steam and drip down into the glass bowl. The water in the glass bowl is your rose water or whatever herb, on top will be a layer of oil. This is the essential oil. You can separate these and use the water in cooking and the essential oil in potpourri, lotions, soaps or whatever.

Rosemary Oil

The familiar aroma of the culinary herb is captured in its essential oil form.  Add to love and healing magical blends.

Rose Oil

The accepted love scent.  True rose essential oil (known as otto) and rose absolute (a different form) are expensive but, as with jasmine, one drop has powerful scenting properties.  Rose essential oil is used in formulas designed to attract love, confer peace, stimulate sexual desires and enhance beauty.  Do not use synthetics!
