Goddesses of Autumn!
Demeter, Pomona, Persephone, Inanna!
Guides into the deepening time,
endless vessels of nourishment,
you who give us the powers
of compassion, courage, and sustenance,
to you we make the offering:
apples of immortality, pomegranate, pumpkin,
bread and wine for the journey within.
Fill us with hope, Mothers,
hold us close in your embrace,
and feed our hunger for home.
