What is February in Numerology?

February is the 2nd month and breaks down to a 2. The Number 2 is the Number that denotes relationships, companionship and above all, LOVE. How appropriate that Valentine's Day is in this month! This is the month for you to take a look at your love life and all of your personal relationships. It is the month to make a special effort to delight your partner. For all the men who read this Newsletter: FLOWERS MEAN THE WORLD TO A WOMAN ON VALENTINE'S DAY. Trust me on this one. You will gain many points with your loved one.

Ladies, you should also make a romantic gesture to the man in your life. Perhaps you could create a special plaque that lists everything you love about him, or cook him a wonderful meal. If you are not in a relationship, get a group of friends together on the 14th and celebrate your wonderful friendships!

If you run a company, do something special for your employees-a coffee break for everyone, or even a personal card expressing your appreciation. If you are between valentines, this is not the time to feel sorry for yourself. Do something that shows you have healthy self-love: Get a massage, a new hairdo, a nice outfit, or go out and get your own box of chocolates! Love is the in the air, so let's all make the most of it .

 CELEBRITY CORNER:
 Heath Ledger 4/4/1979

So many of you have written me in the last two weeks asking me to please cover the untimely death of Heath Ledger. And although I wanted to keep the February Newsletter upbeat, I do feel there is a Numerology lesson to be learned here. So, on that note, here are my thoughts:

  • Marilyn Monroe 6/1/1926
  • Janis Joplin 1/19/1943
  • Jim Morrison 12/8/1943
  • Chris Farley 2/15/1964
  • River Phoenix 8/23/1970

When I heard that Heath Ledger had passed away in what
appears to be an accidental overdose, I was devastated as were most of us, and then, of course, I had to go to Numerology for insights as to how this could happen. Heath Ledger was a 7 Life Path and the numbers 1-5-7 are the mind numbers. These people live in their heads, and they have to be careful not to escape through drugs and/or alcohol. As you can see, I have listed other famous creative people that we have lost through overdoses, either intentional or accidental.

What this group has in common is that they all have either a 1, 5 or 7 in their actual birth date numbers. It is our birth date numbers (our name numbers are secondary) that play the biggest role in defining who we are. In the case of Heath Ledger, it is being said through reliable sources that drugs and alcohol played a significant role in his life.Yet those who who felt they knew him best thought he was in control of it. Is there really such a thing?

Another observation I have about the 7 Life Path is that they tend to feel more alive at night. Often it is hard for them to fall asleep and true to his vibration, Heath Ledger did have trouble sleeping at night. He said he could take two Ambien sleeping pills and only get a few hours sleep before he would have to get up again. So, on the day he died, he allegedly took these sleeping pills, and a combination of other prescription drugs in the hopes of getting some much needed rest.

The housekeeper reported that at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon, she walked into his room and he was snoring, and an hour later when she went in to check on him again, he was not breathing. Right now, there is speculation surrounding the fact that the housekeeper said she heard him snoring at 1:00 p.m. According to medical workers who came to his room to resuscitate him, they said that judging by the temperature of his body, he may have been dead well before 1:00 p.m. So I am sure in the days to come, we will find out more of what really happened that day.

In the meantime, here is what we do know: Heath Ledger often said on talk shows that he would experience the characters he played so deeply that it would often lead him into a state of depression. I do not think he was consciously trying to kill himself when he took all the prescription drugs so that he could sleep on 1/22/08. It was more like he was desperately trying to escape his emotional pain and rest, no matter what the cost. As I have so often said, in Numerology, the 1, 5, and 7s are the vibrations that feel the strongest need to escape, and they must find healthy ways to find relief, or they can get into trouble.

In my Natural Match Calendar, I include a category called the Duality Dates, which help you identify which days to avoid doing anything which might be risky, such as getting surgery or self medicating. The day Heath Ledger died was a Duality Date for his personal Numerology, and I do believe that had he been tuned in to his Numerology, he might have said, "You know, I'm going to be extra careful today. I am not going to take all these pills that might interact badly with each other, and put my physical health in jeopardy."

The other thing 7s are known for is their gentle spirit. The male 7 Vibration tends to have a face that is almost feminine in its beauty. John F. Kennedy, Jr. is one example of a 7 Life Path who had this, as did Mel Gibson in his youth. Leonardo DiCaprio is another example. You just look in their eyes, and you see this vulnerability. In part because of this trait, I think playing the controversial role in Broke Back Mountain could have led to some inner turmoil that in turn increased his additions. Everyone in his life says there was a significant increase in drugs and alcohol after this particular film role. Heath Ledger also said that his role as the Joker in the upcoming Batman caused some depression for him. Many well respected sources (not the tabloids) say it was the steady increase of drugs and alcohol that actually destroyed his loving relationship with Michelle Williams. She moved out because she did not want their daughter Matilda raised in that kind of environment. My heart goes out to Matilda and Michelle. He was once quoted as saying that he did not fear death as much, because he felt Matilda would carry a part of him with her always.

The 7 Life Path is here to find faith and it would appear that, sadly, Heath had not found it yet. Deepok Chopra said he had talked to him shortly before this tragedy, and so it seems to me that he was definitely seeking a base of faith that he could believe in. Heath Ledger also said in an interview that he often felt like a ghost in his own life until he and Michelle had Matilda. That statement so reminds of the 7 Life Path. They often feel like they are "observing" life, not actually "in it". Heath Ledger leaves behind a legacy of love to his family, friends, and an admiring public . May God bless him, and may he finally Rest in Peace
