This is my Fire circle in Yuma on our farm
this shot was taken looking West near sunset
the pylons mark the Quarters
The wee altar is placed at the Eastern Quarter
This is a good place for Imbolc, Beltane, Samhain, and Yule.
Jumping  mini bonfires, incinerating parchments, and dancing around it!

This is a pic that was in the Yuma Sun newspaper of my fire circle for Yule, 2007

they were doing articles about different faith practices celebrations for the season

These are pictures I took in April of 2007 are of a hollow I found in a grove of mesquite trees at the bottom of what used to be the bank of the Colorado river thousands of years ago on our farm, before the river changed course. I was profoundly effected by the energy there and decided to clean it up and create a sacred circle there.
The views are to:

the North                   East                        South                      and West

This is a shot of the Completed WicHaven Fairie Glen Circle Sept 27, 2007 after the Harvest Moon ritual. Autumn Heather took picture from the path on the slope leading down into the circle looking eastward. THANK YOU Autumn!!!!

And here are some close ups of what you can find inside the Fairie Circle:

We had a spare room in a an old barn we had converted to an apartment on our farm in Denver, so I painted the ceiling midnight blue, the using a star chart from an encyclopedia, and the help of my oldest daughter,  placed the glow in the dark stars according to a fall equinox sky in the northern hemisphere.
I used this room during inclement weather for rituals.

I thought I would share some of the areas of  the Chalandor covenstead and invite all of you here for the next retreat!

This is looking toward the meditation cove from the sacred circle.  THis is one of the locals visiting.

This was taken last Beltaine at sunrise in the sacred circle as I greeted the sun and gathered the first dew of May. (notice the little fae that was in the circle / the glint to the right of the fire...I took several pictures and it was at different areas in each pictures....in one this little imp was fluttering right below the altar.)   We have had some wonderful rituals in this special Sacred Circle here at Chalandor.

This is the Labrynth the year it was created.  It is a bit different now so this spring, I will update the picture.  It now has a rail fence around it and has more things planted around it so I can't wait to show you all what it looks like in bloom.

I will post more pictures of thecovenstead later.  For now...enjoy.

Bright Blessings
~ Lady Majyk ~
