From: Qyzida (Original Message) | Sent: 5/31/2007 1:07 PM | DAY THREE Last night the moon rose over the Eastern horizon and was indeed a BLUE hue! Clouds rolled in shortly afterwards form an odd direction and blotted out the stars. The sun rose this morning shrouded in storms that brought no rain. Only dust and grit and cold winds. The electricity is still out. Telephone communications are non existant. People are beginning to panic. The careful preparations you have made to provide for your family are at risk by those who were not prepared and are becoming irrational and desperate. You gather the things..then tomorrow you will start assemble what you go...then the next day..and so on... think about what you might run out of and how you will deal with this PER DAY.....everything you said was wonderful and very good advice..but see yourself as if it were happening at this moment..and now go from there...each person will have their own "Story"...so eeryone will ceate their own story...Think and then write what you will do each day... so let's go for it..I wish I could be here to see how you do..but I will be back in two weeks so this will be going daily until then...please participate..and lets see where this goes. Warm Blessings ~ Lady Majyk ~ WHAT WOULD YOU DO? | From: Qyzida | Sent: 6/1/2007 7:48 PM | It's so quiet.... have you all died???? | From: Qyzida | Sent: 6/2/2007 4:20 PM | Storms are getting scary, lots of lightning and wind, but no rain. Radio still nothing but static Kids are freaking out, thinking of things for them to do Water impossible to gather with winds whipping up, but we are doing ok till tomorrow animals are freaking out, can't do much for the ones in the barn, except make sure they have some food and top off their water. keeping the dogs in or near the house Cooking impossible, ate canned goods | From: PredawnLadyKate | Sent: 6/5/2007 6:08 PM | The days seems long but the nights even longer, trying to use the generator as little as possible. Thankfully the nights are not too cold, with plenty of blankets the dogs we huddle together. We try to radio for 5 minutes every 2 hours but there nothing just static. I worry about my neighbors and we decided if the weather was ok we would try to get to them tomorrow. The animals in the barn are fairing quite well, I won't let them out yet, afraid that the dust covered grasses could make them sick. We doing good with our supplies, miss and worry about my family and friends. We've talked about what we will do once the gas is gone but since we are doing well with the wood cooking stove and we have plenty of wood and candles we'll do ok. But we know we are going to have to find out how many people are left and if there if we can get to together for a plan or to see if anyone heard from the outside. I know the neighbor up the road had a ham radio and he has been able to talk with people all over the world, maybe he has some information. Tired now, and there is so much to do tomorrow. | From: grandmomma | Sent: 6/8/2007 7:55 PM | I would walk through the park near my home as I try to do every day and see how my dog reacts to the weather. Would meditate and ask some questions. When receiving answers I would know what to do. I am told to stay inside and keep my doors locked. I must write to calm my soul. | From: ŞħąđǿŵЄļƒ | Sent: 6/10/2007 9:57 PM | Day Three: Storms hit this morning and late afternoon. They didn't help at all though, they actually made it worse. Practically no rain in the storms, only strong hot winds. No one wants to go outside, it feels awful, electric. We're down to canned food, not the tastiest stuff to eat cold, but it's food, and for that we are thankful. Ehren, my fiance is getting nervous, eyeing everyone who comes down the street, knowing that people will be getting desperate soon, since supplies will be running out for those who were less prepared than even us. He made sure I knew how to fire a gun today, just in case I need to protect myself, Goddess forbid it comes down to that. We have plenty of batteries for the flashlights and such, thankfully, so we don't have to use all our candles. We're are using everything sparingly, because we never know how it might be tomorrow. That cop came by again, brought some extra medical supplies, which was wonderful. I sliced my hand open by accident today, while cutting up some boxes for the fire tonight. It hurts, but I'll survive. Shadow | |
