Hi Everyone!
Well it is time to start thinking about our Quilt Blocks for the Light & Shadows Quilt.
Each of you that would like to do this wonderful and very magickal project should start thinking about your block. Here is a list of things you will need.
- 1 Yard of WHITE Muslin or White cotton fabric.
- a colored assorment of Embroidry Floss
- Embroidry Hoop
- A Sharp Embroidry Needle
- a chosen picture to embroidry (this is whatever you choose to embroidry to represent the sabbat you choose.)
Cut yourself TWO pieces of fabric 13 inches square. (You will be doing TWO blocks that are identical.)
The picture you choose can be copied on with a tracing pencil or use tracing paper...onto the CENTER of your fabric...
You need to put the name of the Sabbat at the Top of your picture and your name in at the bottom in small lettering.. (see the example at the bottom of this note)
The entire area to embroidry should not be more than 10 and a half inches square. That way I have room to sew and will not interfere with your handiwork.
