They's all great!!! Great landscapes and wildlife everyone... Jess, there is no context for the subject. I did say Nature in all it's forms, and giving birth has gotta be one of the fundamentals of the nature of living things... I thought it was a great pic and it certainly said nature to me... I've left it in the album, I hope you change your mind... I spent yesterday afternoon down by the river Stour at Mistley quey where there is a large population of swans. I had planned on going further up the river but it was so nice there I ended up staying till it got too dark... This is a "Black Swan" and comes from New Zealand. There are six of them here living with the local population of a couple of hundred "Mute Swans". There are two pairs and two signets. So, just goes to show that black and white can live together... Me and my shadow One of the local Mute swans showing off... Hey! I can't hold this pose forever ya know! Cheeky pigeon, waiting to cash in on the swans dinner... This is my best side__AH! This sweet lady feeds the swans, I think she said twice a day and has been doing it every day for the last 3 years. We had a good conversation and she told me the history of the swans here. Apparently the swans have been here for about two hundred years. They came here because of the plentiful food from the waste grain from the two maltings that opperated on this bank of the river. Foourteen years ago one of the maltins closed, then three years ago the second malting house was banned from pumping thier waste into the river. That year over a hundred swans died as there is not enough food in the river to sustain such a lage flock. So, since then she has been feeding them. The local council are trying to get her to stop feeding them but she still carries on. I'll try to find out more about this, maybe the council have good reason. Human Nature... |

Exactly who had what rights to do what is difficult for a lawyer to work out, let alone us wanna be lawyers. Especially as we don't really have all of the facts, circumstances and knowledge of the local laws etc. The Questions I would ask are: - Of the wifes involvement
- Did the wife (as only a joint owner of both the property and the bike) have the right to have it towed away?
- Did the wife act reasonably. That is did she give her husband specific notice that she was going to have the bike towed away?
- Of the Towing Company's involvement.
- Do towing companies not have a responsibility to make reasonable checks before taking away someones vehicle?
- Does the towing company not have a responsibility to do what it can to ensure a reasonable price and is 8.3% a reasonable price?
- Of the husband.
- Even if he was the victim, would he not have had a responsibility to mitigate his losses? ie. pay the $250 and then fight for the return of his money?
