Lately, I've been frequenting another Message Board in Google Groups:
 
     rec.games.bridge
 
Today someone asked about finding an old thread that had  " overloading Bergen raises..." in the title.
He got a couple of replies, one of which included the url for the initial post he was looking for: " Overloading reverse Bergen raises with 2 ranges of splinters " ...
from May 14, 2006.
 
Another reply just said to use the home page option to "search" this particular Google Group, which I did, and found the same article with 2 clicks.... and it contained the thread and its replies.

In fact, I seem to recall that the idea grew from a question posed by somebody named Don.
