You make it exceedingly difficult for anyone to have a polite interaction with you. I have to wonder if you do this in real life too, or if you just don't understand that there are real people behind these posts. Why not just say "OK maybe I will" and then not do it? |

SuperMichaels (Also called "Leaping Michaels) Super Michaels shows a hand with at least one long handed major (5 cards are mandatory, 6+ is most common) A cue bid of a minor suit shows both majors. A cue bid of a major suit shows the other major and an unspecificied minor. (the minor sometimes may have only 4+ by partnership agreement). Partner bids 2NT to learn the minor. This is the same as Michaels (surprise, surprise), except that it is a jump cue bid (e.g., 1D 3D) and is game forcing in the majors. This is where Spade probably got her information, and sometimes I think we are a little quick to jump on her. How do you all know which bridge site to believe? |

i would like to say that bridge is a very hard game and that there are available to us many conventions and treatments, and not all experts agree about their uses and what is correct .one of the things i hope ive learned that theres no right or wrong[according to different partnership agreements] but a better or worse way to discribe your hand.think we all try to bid in this manner. |

Well now I am concerned because I use the site where this info is from quite often. Can anyone tell me if much of their other stuff is wrong? It is: ALL OF THE BRIDGE CONVENTIONS YOU COULD EVER WANT |

JoAnne im aware of many sites and have at least 5 books on conventions,i personaly if in question about a treatment or convention go and reference at least 3-5 of them ,if get same information agreeing on the treatment or convention, feel its written in stone. |

Do you know how to highlight? You leftclick behind the URL in your address box, it will show a grey box around the whole URL. Then you Rightclick in the same spot and click on copy. In your message you have to click on the little icon that looks like a clipboard and it will paste the URL into your message. |
