I've been slowly writing up something basic on forcing / non-forcing bids in another thread. There's probably about 5 more small bits to write before it's finished.

I've had a bit of feedback from people who never post here that it's useful.

I'd be interest in any feedback e.g. - you don't have to post here - you can zone message me - as IRDOZ I'm usually on private - but when I am logged on as director_irdoz you can message me.

I also thought after I'd finished forcing/non-forcing I'd write something basic on 'is this double penalty?' and do a few quizzes - I still find this area confusing sometimes. Would there be any interest in this?

One question I was asked was how someone can send it to someone who doesn't use the board. You can cut and paste any post from the board into an email where you have set the format to HTML.

Irdoz, I have heard from 4 invisible " lurkers" that this is one of the best threads  they have seen on this MB. They directly or indirectly qualified that best meant - in terms of knowledge gained by them. Keep up the good work.

Sometimes when I read this message board, I have to show restraint, understanding, tolerance, civlity  and humor in order not to respond..
Spade I agree with you that "balancing" is or would be a good topic for those of us
who needs to read Ross's write up on forcing..BUT, and a big but, were you suggesting that if youe writing skill were as good as Ross's you woild do it?   That is the humor part.....:-) My suggestion ..  please spare me..I know you will quote from one of youre several books you read and therefore you can't be wrong, but then you always quote em wrong!  You may get sued!
On many occassions ypou have said hardy says this and lawrence says this only to be contractided what is poor little me who is tryting to learn the game gonna do and when is Hardy or Lawrence  right....I guess I just wait for Destiny  or Barton to either confirm or deny...Have  Good weekend all!!
