I must be missing something! Play for sure.
Since this is presented as a double dummy problem, lead a heart now and if the ace does not get played finesse the jack. Easy 12.

Ya i shouldn't call it a play or defend, It does lead to an interesting end position under normal play.
 
You lead a heart east plays low and you guess wrong playing king.  I nowt hink it's inmakeable..  How many would guess ducking the ace at the table?

It is not easy to guess what declarer would do if West ducked (now I am talking single dummy). He really should hook the jack as he needs two heart tricks, but considering the play to the first four tricks it is not clear that planning is part of his card play technique.
 
Much better to put the defense to the test at trick 2 (win club, lead heart). Now a duck will risk the OT.
