You have 19 hcp and solid spades. Pard has <10 hcp, but may have enuf for game. So I would not pass. Give pard another chance. 2H |

| Pass. Pard didn't redouble nor raised, and if they have hearts-diamonds, then they likely should pass and defend. Taking the sure score. |

If you want to force to game , you should bid 3H , not 2H as thats not forcing. WIth implied hearts behind me pass seems better but forcing to game is certainly reasonable. Bidding 2H is not I would do that with a weak 5-5.

I bid as PK , And partner pass with X 109X QJ10XX K10XX So danger to bid 3H on that pos ,can cost a lot . |
