Ed finally gave up his battle with cancer this morning.  He went into a coma and died "in his sleep".  Ed is finally at rest and not in pain any more

Dear Cate, my sympathy to the family and you for the loss of a loved one, a fine partner and friend.  I will miss the challenge of playing against Ed and you. Hopefully all will have some comfort from knowing the  suffering is over. Harriet
