How very sad.   One of our long time members of this message board family, and always an interesting and intelligent contributor.  A friend I am sure we will all miss.

I too am saddened.

   She was a world class lady.

   Whenever I played with her or friend Enrico ( EriktheHun )--which was not often enough-- I always wanted to play "Laura Puppet" ( her special convention which she posted here) over 2NT.

My worse fears now become the truth.

The last words i had from Laura was words of optimism and strenght, like her style, also in a moment of deep pain.

She live and will live in my mind and my soul. A great person and a great friend for me.

Ciao Laura, wish you still some great boards to play in your afterlife.

I am saddened by this news.  Laura was a kind and good contributor to our message board.  I will miss her.  May she bid and make many wonderful 7 NT contracts in bridge heaven.

She was such a lovely person...  so helpful.   Since the bc closed   each time I went into free zone in the mornings she was there....I am, sure  those that she played with are missing her. 

Rune, I am so sad to hear the news about Laura.  She was an excellent bridge player and a good friend.  She will be greatly missed.

I just heard this bad news ,I know i am a bit far from this club now but i still remember Laura and her kindness ,she is a great player we played few times at the club and I learned a lot from her ....My condolences to her family and friends
