It's not as hard as it looks...this is step by step. Hope you can print it out! As you can tell, I'm not a great tut writer!

1. Manager Tools
2. Add a Page
3. A List
4. An Announcement List (way down on page)
5. Name it (Footsteps Into Obsessions)
6. Click on Create List
7. Click on "More"
8. Click on Change Columns
9. Delete #2 Message Column (delete is way over to the right)
10. Save changes
11. Brings you back so hit "More" again & Change settings
12. Leave Detail View checked. Editing Permissions-check "members can edit their own"
13 Item Name.....eg; Your Footsteps
14: Save settings again
15. Takes you to main page again...click on More & then "Change Settings"
15 Right under that is "Customize the Details View" Click on that
16. Delete the "Posted By" & Post Date"
17 Put your background in as you would for a page.
18. Click the "Use HTML" after background is on there
19. Highlight "Posted By" on the right & click Add-then highlight post date & click add.
20. Uncheck html. Then you can add text. If you highlight the square with "posted by" & post date, you can change color & font. That is what determines the name & date font & color  when a member posts.

Large backgrounds don't fit, so here is the html of the one on here to start with!
