At times I felt like what she was doing was maybe to hurt Edward a little more for when he left her. I don't know how he was able to stand it because if it were me I would have been very ticked off. Good thing he loves her or he just might have taken a bite out of either of them right!
I am about 2/3 through Breaking Dawn now so its hard to remember what happened in which book and what exactly you are referring too, kwim... but I dont remember thinking of betrayal necessarily but I do remember being annoyed, like if I was there I would have smacked her kind of annoyance ..LOL
Elisa, I think Jen is talking about the part where Bella was spending time with Jake (with or without his knowledge). At least that was what I was thinking when I responded to it. I think at some point I felt like she was letting little digs in here or there but she tried not to. I did enjoy the banter between Jacob and Edward regarding the subject though. I found it quite entertaining!
