OMG I have always said as long as I have a washer, dryer and internet, not in that order lol, I would be a happy person. Well the dryer worked fine on Sunday, Monday I went to use it and it was slow drying. Tues it quit. It is only two yrs old. We called Wed and got the part they figured went out, was it, hel* no, so we are waiting on another part to see if that fixes it. If not I am gonna shove it out the back door. We will have as much in parts as we paid new for the damn thing. So I am washing a weeks worth of clothes, sheets and blankets, and hauling it to the mat in a bit and that makes me very grumpy.

I cant imagine, I hated it when it was just me and my friend in college let along a husband and two kids clothes too!

Our dryer and washer has been acting up for over a year now, we thought for sure they would be toast by now.. still hanging on! Although at least once a week the dryer will run one or two cycles with no heat so basically just wasting power!

I use to go when I was pregnant with Susan because it was easiest for me. I'd lug it all there and put it in the washers and then take Devin to school and then back to dry and fold it and then put it back in the truck and go get Devin from school.  It worked out because I was done in 1 1/2 hours and had all the laundry for the week done.  But with Susan being born I can't do that so I do it at the complex again. I can do 2 loads at a time. Takes 35 minutes to wash and 1 hour to dry and its $1.50 for each.  It isn't all that bad vs. the laundry mat. It has its ups and downs being it takes me a lot longer to do it but then while doing it I can be home doing other things waiting for it.  I do about 6 - 8 loads in one day but that is a weeks worth.  The other thing that stinks is if someone is in there doing their laundry you have to wait for them to be done before you can get in there.
