OMG ty ty ty for the books, the kids are so excited, AJ grabbed the butterfly book and Will and I are beyond excited about the Attic book, he has wanted it for a long time and I have never read it. Came just in time for summer reading program. You did good my friend.

AWESOME!! I am so glad they were all good! I loved Shel Silverstein when I was his age too so thought he might like it! Was there the bug and craft/activity book too? There should have been 4 books altogether. Besides the Attic one I just guessed at the others from the descriptions on amazon I havent actually seen or read them but thought they looked like fun. I figured Dr Suess and butterflies/bugs has to be a good combination!!

Yes two Dr S one is butterflies one is bugs, the Silverstein one and the preschool activity which is excellant by the way. The Silverstein one had a cd with it too, the author reading some of the poems can't wait to hear that.

Shel Silverstein books are perfect for ALL ages!  I used them a lot in my student teaching to get creative writing assignments going, they rock! 
 
Where the Sidewalk Ends is still my favorite.
