5 slices bacon, diced and browned
1 can sauerkraut
4 C. chopped cabbage
1 C. diced onion
1 T. margarine
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Pour bacon dripping over all. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 5 hours. Serves 4 to 6.
