8 C. water 2 1/2 C. navy beans 1 C. salt pork, cubed 1 onion, chopped 1/2 C. molasses 1/3 C. brown sugar 1 T. mustard Bring water and beans to a boil in a saucepan. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Drain and chill. Save 1 cup liquid. Combine beans, liquid and remaining ingredients in slow cooker. Stir to mix. Cover and cook on low for 12 to 15 hours. Serves 6. |
