What Pram do you have?

What Pram would you like?

What are best for two children?

When do they stop using them?

Do you have a stroller?

And any other questions you have about PRAMS & STROLLERS!!!!!

WOW!!!
I hope I dont come across sounding awful here like a total tighta$$ but omg! I could NOT spend that much money on a pram!!
Again sorry, dont wanna sound like I am a cheapskate but that is just completely out of the question for us!
We could never afford it anyway but I honestly dont know if I could justify that anyway. That is sooooo sooooo much money!

On the pram discussion, I think I will only get a single again, I am unsure tho. As I said above I guess it is a decision I can leave totally until the last minute and just see how Brandon is with walking at that stage. Being just over 2 I guess he will get tired quicker tho. Are all double prams that expensive? If they are then I will definitely be getting a single and he will have to walk! lmao

The bottom is seperate Janna. $100 extra. lmao Kel will think its even worse now.
I don't think all double prams are that expensive. My other double was $200 and something. But in defence phil and ted is pretty cool lmao.
Will you need to buy another single pram Kel? Is B's one had it??
I don't think you sound like a cheapskate at all. It is ALOT of money and for a pram. But I have used it for all 3 girls and since I had all of them close we have had great use from it.
My sister had 4 kids and got a new pram for each one and I would say she definatly ended up spending more than I did on phil and ted. Plus I think I could sell mine on ebay after and get a lil bit for it.

LOL...
Oh Kel, I don't think you sound like a cheapskate at all.
I nearly died when I saw the price of some of the prams. The Phil & Teds is nothing compared to the buggaboo stuff. Its like over $1500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got Ella's "Holden" pram for Target before we had even started TTC. It was around the $300 (I think) and we laybuyed IT and a matching Porta-cot. At the time we had plenty of money (having two full incomes), so it wasn't a big deal.

But unfortunetly, we HAVE to get a new pram. Ella's in broken and its not fixable.
If it were fixable, I wouldn't even think about getting another pram.

Andrew & I were looking at a few different one's tonight. Have no idea what we will do yet.

lol, well I am glad you dont think me a cheapskate then!
Hayles made some very good points tho in her post and when I was talking to her on msn. I guess too if you get as good a use out of it as Hayles had then it would definitely be worth the money. Also good point about buying a few and it equalling one good one too, something to consider I guess.
HOley moley janna $1500!!! Here I was squealing at half of that! lol
Yes I know what you mean by you had plenty of money back then when you had 2 full time incomes. Probly wouldnt think twice about it then. If you laybyed it I guess you wouldnt notice as much but still I guess depends how long you can layby for and how much per week etc.
Was saying to Hayles that my one for B isnt completely trashed or anything I just dont like it that much. It is fine tho and I may just use it yet, not sure as I really want a reversible handle but it wasnt my original pram, I loved my first one it was a 'Mothers choice' and it ended up breaking and so I took it back to the shop but they didnt have anymore so they gave me the next closest thing which was this pram and I didnt like it as much but it worked and all.

Anyway I am not cheap and trashy!!!! I promise! lol
And I know you girls arent made of money either I wasnt trying to be rude and mean that either, from the sounds of it we all seem to be in similiar situations when it comes to dosh so I am sure you understand why I was shocked! lmao

No, definetly don't think your cheap, trashy or anything like that.
If I knew for sure I would be having another 2 kids, I would "maybe" invest in a dearer pram. But right now, I have no idea if we will ever even have ONE more kid.
And I have no idea what we will do about a pram.

I need to get a new pram as Ella's is broken.
If it wasn't broken, I don't think we would bother with another pram.

On page 8 & 9 of the current Target catalogue there is some Prams & Strollers.

Our Toys r us still hasnt re-opened from the floods.
They are still rebuilding it which sux cos we only have one other place to buy baby gear from other than that. (besides target etc) Its been 3 months and so many shops and houses are not back on their feet, its really sad.

oh cool did you find anything you will consider buying?
A friend at playgroup who has 2 children had a double pram there the other day, it looked okay, I assume it would be like the one Hayles has that isnt a phil & ted one.
I am seriously thinking tho that this time I will just buy one of those universal stand thingies that you put on a single pram and the older child can stand or sit on. Well they are supposed to stand on them I think but I am sure they could sit on them if they got tired. I just think B MAY rather that by that age, he may be nearly over prams.
Dont know tho, still in the deciding stage which I may take until baby is here even to decide cos then I will have more of an idea about what he may or may not wanna do.
