Ok I need some help.
I have a baby shower to go to in about 2 weeks and I really have no idea what to get.
I usually love this and find it easy but not this time.
Its for a friend and she is due in January.
However she married into a "rich" family and all HIS family are very judgemental and they have already gone out and spent like $5000 on all the baby stuff...

So far I have:
* Pack of Baby Coat Hangers
* Teething Ring
* Dummies
* Johnsons Baby Pack (with like Bath Lotion etc)

Any idea's???

What about something more sentimental?
Like something to represent her pregnancy and or mother and baby.

I dont know what though lol - I always like those umm whats the name of the little clay people and they have a mother and baby and lots of others.
they are pricy though i think but I was thinking something along those lines.

I am no help lol.

oh yeh thats a good idea what Hayles said! My friend gave me one after I had B and its one of those cartoon type looking angels with a baby and it says new mum on it.
Do you know what I mean? Probly not lol.
Or what about something you know you used that ppl dont think to buy?
Not sure what tho..... does she have a baby/pregnancy book diary type thing?
Maybe get something for Mum? A nice pamper pack or something? could be nice....
hmm will keep thinking!

I don't really know what either of you are thinking of. Ha Ha. I'm so dumb. LOL.

Just wish she wasn't so hard. No one else is this ahrd to buy for, but people who have so much money in the family have everything already...

Yeah was thinking of getting her something nice too...

I kept forgetting to look for things when I was out, so just ended up doing a heap of practical stuff.

* Cot Sheet Set
* Coat Hangers
* Baby Bath/Lotion/Shampoo set
* Bottle with M&Ms
* Teething Ring
* Dummies
* Bunny Rug (from Toys R Us - was down to $1!!!!)
* Socks
* Gorgeous Puple Towel (Like hot purple with a bear - was only $5 at Target - was on BIG special hehe)
* Power Point Protectors
* Purse size packet of wipes

Ummm...I think that was it.

But she was like wow, you put so much effort into things you know you will use. So I think she was happy.
