Kel you are not bad and don't me ashamed at all. He is going on two and not like you give it to him everyday and in larger amounts.
I don't let my girls drink it as I am always and I mean always having to tell Ali to not give them her coke (she would give them there own whole bottle every time we saw her if I let her. so I can't then give it to them iykwim. Now when ali offers them sips behind my back they say "no we are not allowed ali - they say that alot to her now as they know ali is naughty and I get cranky at heaps of crap she tries to give them. But they have had small amounts of other soft drink - mostly like you janna its when I get a frozen drink - but I get the red fanta ones not coke cause I LOVE red fanta ones - mmmmm frozen red fanta lol.
And YES how much do people stare. When we go to maccas the girls normally get either a cheeseburger or nuggets then share some of my fries and I get them both a cup of water as they are just happy with the fact they have a maccas cup like everyone else but I always see poeple looking as if to say that child wouldnt even be two and that mother is giving her softdrink - I feel like saying "its OK its just water in a maccas cup" lol. When I see something I dont agree with I dont stare!!
