Am finally back home.
Sooo don't like being in hospital...Especially in MATERNITY when I'm not actually HAVING my baby. LOL.
I went to bed about 9pm on Monday night and my back was really sore, but I just thought it was from being back at work.
Andrew went to work at 9.30pm and left me with my heat pack. By 10.30pm, the pain was getting worse and continuous. By 11pm I called Andrew and was at the point where it was so painful it was taking my breathe away. Andrew called the after hours nurse and she called me and after asking a heap of questions she said I was best to go to the hospital.
So Andrew came home and his Mum came around to sleep on a mattress so we didn't have to wake Ella up.
Got to the hospital just after midnight and was seen by the triage nurse straight away. They gave me panadine forte for the pain and then I had to wait almost 2hrs to see a Dr.
They did a urine test and some blood tests and also poked around my back and decided to send me to Gosford hospital. So was transferred by Ambulance about 5am. I sent Andrew home so he could get a bit of sleep and be there for Ella.
So spent all day yesterday in hospital and then the Dr's came around this morning and said that I could go home, but I have to keep taking the full course of anti-biotics and I also have to get a ultrasound done on my kidneys just to make sure all is ok.
Am so glad to be home.
