What do you think of gender stereotypes with regard to how boys and girls are raised and expected to behave?
Is it ok for a boy to play with dols and prams and girls to play with action men and cars ?

Chloe and Luke both play with each others toys....sometimes separately and sometimes together and I don't think there is anything wrong with it at all. I totally agree with Teena when she says that it helps them understand each other better and as they get older they usually do start playing with their own toys again. I just let them play with each others things cos I think it's just healthy childhood exploration.
Ive got more boy toys than girls stuff with Ruby being younger than them but Zak and Ruby both play with each others toys, and Reece used to play with his sisters(my ex's daughter) toys and vice versa and thats fine nothing wrong with it.
I totally agree that boys or girls should be allowed to play with whatever toy they choose. My grandson keeps playing with my grand-daughters pram but my eldest son goes mad and calls him a puff, it really winds me up.
