i feel very srongly thet the way my parents rasied my self and my older sister was the best ever way! they were fantastic very loving very surportive , just fab at everything. best childhood and if i can impart one ounce of what my parents gave to me to my own children they will be very lucky children! very sadly both my parents passed away with in 7 months of each other and not a day goes by when my heart breaks for them. but i always think come on now mel the kids need you to give them a good childhood like you had !! it helps!
I was brought up by my mother and when I was a child I thought that she was far too strict with us but once I became a mother I realised that she was correct to treat us the way that she did. It taught me a lot of things and helped me to teach my own children right from wrong. I would never change anything about my upbringing.
