There has been talks of increasing the legal drinking age in Britain from 18 years to 21 years old-What are your views on this,

Do you think its a good idea or bad,Do you think it will just make under-age drinking worse?

It's the best blooming idea ANY british government has had in a long time!!!

About time they started prosecuting the parents of these youngsters for neglect too, coz if a teenager is ANYWHERE drunk, they sure ain't doing there jobs/taking their responsibilities properly.

Wish they would raise the age of consent for sexual intercourse too AND started prosecuting the men who get these 12, 13, 14, 15yr old girls pregnant instead of using the excuse "well, the girl ain't crying rape!"

-now a days there is each day more teenagers drinking but with laws i think will reduce and someone will be listen why

Maybe it would be a good idea. I can't believe how young some of the kids are that get into the pubs these days. Maybe if the limit was raised we wouldn't see kids as young as 13 and 14 in there.

i think its a great idea most people celebrate there 18th birthday and get totally wasted but i only celebrated my 21st as it was legal to drink in america. most people who are 21 and over are more mature about drinking

Its a good idea as alot of 16 yr olds can get away with looking 18 but looking 21 will be harder and like someone else said most people are more responible about drnking at that age

I dont think it will make much difference, half the kids who are getting drunk are well below 18 and still get hold of it, alot of the times the parents even bloody supply it which is ridiculous.
