Do you think that couples trying to conceive should be allowed to choose whether they want a boy or a girl? Do you think medical procedures should be used to determine the sex of a baby or do you think that's it's un-natural to force the sex of a baby and that it should be left for nature to decide?
Personally I think you should be happy for nature to take it's course and be blessed whether it's a boy or a girl.
Im in two minds on this i think couples who don't have kids should not be allowed to choose as its not fair to prefer one sex over another but if you say have two boys and one girl and would like another girl to make it even then i think that would be ok.
no i personally think its wrong. alot of couples long for a baby but cant conceive or other couples have babies that are critically ill so i feel parents should just be grateful they can conceive a baby and that its healthy. i have three boys and would have loved a girl but i love them all the same and am grateful they are fit and healthy
I'm for it but only under certain circumstances-eg there are some hereditary medical conditions that can affect only boys or vice versa!
If parents are tested and are found to have the gene that triggers a certain illness that can only affect one sex surely those parents should be given the chance to have a healthy child?
all children are a blessing a gift weather they be girls or boys, it is a hard one about the herditory issue but many times ppl have been told oh you need to abort your baby cos there is a problem only to be proved wrong and the baby is born fine, if they may be a risk then i am really sorry but dont get pregnant at all try another route, this may sound harsh but imagine you cant have boys and every time you get pregnant you are found to be carrying boys? how many times would you have and abortion ? what would this do to the couple? get built up for another abortion, best not to go there at all. and it could lead to all sorts of " special reasons" to choose, leave well alone to nature.
