im sure most of us have heard of the phrase 'children having children'! i just wondered what age you thought was too young to have a child and if you feel that teenagers (at highschool) are responsible enough or capable of raising a baby/child?
I don't think people should have kids until they are ready and ready is different for everyone but certainly wait until they are out of high school. Once the seed has been planted well reality kicks on and A good parent will make the right choices at 16 or 35. Help maybe needed but if they are just as capable as everyone else.
i think teenagers have kids so they don't have to work and to get somewhere to live i belive that is the only reason they do they have no idea about raising a familt at all so i say wait till ur about 25 before thinking of raising a family but hey that is my opinion
I was 17 when i had my first and i DEF didnt have it just to get a house or not to work as that wasnt the case, i lived with my mum for 2 years with my lil one and i did work. Its a hard situation, looking back i was to young, but hey i faced my responibilitys
I was 17 when I had my first. I will admit that he wasn't planned and although me and his father got married it didn't last long (I was pregnant with our second when we split). But I do not regret having him so young. The fact is that now I'm 46 I am young enough to enjoy my 5 grandchildren and most importantly for them to enjoy me. I already had my own home when he was born and no I didn't work but my own personal believes are that a mother should look after her own children and not go out to work.
