How much is pushing your child too far. My girlfriend's extook her 5 year old out to a dinner with a belly dancer. Everyone was shouting (in fun) and getting in the mood with the dancer. Her ex told thier 5year old to go up and put money in her underwear. (THIS WAS CAUGHT ON TAPE) the child refuse but was pushed into it and looked to be dying of embarassment. Did Dad push to far? My other girlfriend's spouse is constantly putting her son in sports even though the child doesn't like the sports but Dad says it will get better and funner. the child goes but hates it. Is Dad pushing to much.

 

My question is....Is there a point when you are pushing your children for the wrong reasons or to young to force them to deal with grown up issues like embarassment?
