...to moan. Lynette went to the job centre today and was given £60 to buy interview clothes. On top of that she has been told that if she gets a job she will get £250 for returning to work cos she's been on Jobseekers allowance for less than 12 month. My complaint is that me and Jimmy work all hours and we can't afford to buy new clothes but no-one will help us.
I'm sorry to complain, but it really is annoying when you are working hard and have nothing to show for it.
I too work my ass off (in a factory around 45hrs per week),i have to pay child care fees, bills etc etc so i have very little cash left for luxuries like new clothes-i buy a lot of my clothes in charity shops!
If its an incentive to get people back to work then thats ok, I appreciate that alot of people work very hard at their jobs but for some of us it isnt an option. I am a full time carer to my husband who has epilepsy and caring for 3 children. I do try and do my bit for the community and work hard as a parish councillor.
