Magic Cookie Bars
The traditional Eagle brand cookie bar recipe which is always a wonderful treat! You don't need a special occasion to make these cookies. They will become a staple at your house just like they are at ours.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 (14-ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
2 cups (12-ounce) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°(325° for glass dish). In 13x9-inch baking pan, melt butter in oven.
Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over butter; pour condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Top with remaining ingredients; press down firmly with fork.
Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Chill if desired. Cut into bars or diamonds. Store at room temperature.
Yield: 24- 36 bars depending on how you cut them.
Notes: Recipe Variations: Substitute chocolate chips or nuts with: candy coated pieces, dried cranberries, raisins, mini marshmallows or butterscotch chips.
