Grace· | Grace (Laurie) | Texas, U.S. | Nature photography, jigsaw puzzles, reading, self-improvement, | | I was born in 1952... youngest of 5 children. I have a sister 14 years old, sister 12 years older, a brother 10 years older, and a brother 5 years older. My parents are of Czech ancestry. Don't know anything hardly about my mom's family. My dad was the youngest of 11. His parents and older siblings came here to Texas in 1905. I grew up in a nice, friendly small town.... was not exposed to anything outside of it much... led a pretty sheltered life. I was pretty introverted most of my life... I have never ever in my life talked as much as I do on group boards! I've been married for 30 years come April '06.. and we have 2 children and 1 grandchild. I was a single/unwed mother, and we got married when Michael was 3 and Robin gave him his last name... not adoption. Daughter Shanna was born 2 years after we got married, in '78, and is mother to Ethan. I totally love being a grandparent and felt connected to his soul the instant our eyes met. | | 1/6/2006

godsrosiegirl | Rosie | Indiana | Love the Lord, scrapbooking, photography, crocheting, enjoying my kids and grandchildren and now my great grand | | My name is Margaret but I prefer being called Rosie(my middle name). I was born in Indiana, October 26, 1942. I am black and Indian and the eldest of 13 children. My parents were very upright, law abiding, influential citizens of the community and they loved the Lord. They were extremely strict and sheltered us to no end but they certainly taught us how to live and love. I learned to sew from my mom, mastered it and became a seamstress. As a young adult I attended college for primary education and photojournalism and was graced with position of head photographer during my college years for 2 years . Had my own darkroom built and started my own business doing weddings and school pictures for private schools. Taught school as Kindergarten teacher, 1st grade teacher and 6th grade teacher and drove a school bus for about 3 years. Worked on the West County Times in California as photographer and had my own byline and housed children in my home under the auspice of Therapeutic Foster Parent for years. I was married for 12 years, 6 wonderful years but he started drinking and doing drugs. I birthed 3 children, my eldest died of a heart attack after having a horrible asthma attack. My son is 35, my daughter is 36. I have been married this time for 7 years. Mark is a wonderful man. We have 5 children all together, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grand child. I have several pets, a miniature schnauzer - Romi, an iguana - Ringo, a wood turtle - Ninja and my newest pet member - Starr. What a blessing to be surrounded by such love. I miss my parents and grand parents dearly but I am pleased that they left me with lessons learned and I know that I am a byproduct of all of them and that makes me feel really warm inside. . | rosie-made2endure.com | 1/20/2006
