Grace, I was so sorry to read your posting. It's an awful feeling isn't feeling trapped and feeling there is no way out.
Hopefully things will be brighter for you soon once you have fully recovered from your hospital trip and then get that gall bladder problem sorted out.
I don't think even winning the lotto would help us escape though. Well I guess we could but I wonder if we would feel any better for it! Mind you, it would be worth a try.

Something that might make you smile though. FiL has been buying bottled water. DH asked him if he needed some more on their last shopping trip and he replied "no, it's ok, I've diluted the other lot down". Pointless trying to explain that it defeated the whole object of diluting bottled water down with tap water!!
