Did you know that Taiwan is the 16th largest trading country in the world with over $16,000 per capita GDP? Despite its economic prosperity, Taiwan has been isolated by the international community and even shunned by the UN.

Did you know that that China has over 1,000 missiles aimed at Taiwan? And the number of missiles increases every year.

In light of the drastic change in the political landscape of Taiwan, coupled with international isolation, China’s aggression, and ongoing worries of eroding Taiwanese sovereignty, it is now more crucial than ever to redouble FAPA’s efforts to safeguard Taiwan’s security and the well-being of its people. On October 25th, over half a million Taiwanese demonstrated in Taipei against the KMT government and China. The participation of our younger generations has become even more important at this juncture.

Please come and meet one another and learn how to get involved with Young Professional Group of the Formosan Association for Public Affairs.
