It always used to be such a big thing...my mom was really into making us feel special on our birthdays...my 28th birthday was going to be very special for Mom and me cuz she was 28 when I was born so on that day she would be exactly double my age...she died 29 days before my 28th birthday, so we never got to have that special day. No matter how much I outweighed her, on my birthday she would always have me sit on her lap and she'd sing happy birthday to me and she'd hug me and make me feel so warm and loved...since she died I haven't had one good birthday...my family tends to forget it EVERY year...last year I waited to see how long it would take them to remember, Brian remembered the next day, Lonnie a couple days after that, Shane two weeks later...I know it shouldn't be such a big deal but it was just always so special when Mom was around, and it hasn't been the same since. This year my guys say it'll be different, they're going to make it special for me again...I'll just wait and see. I don't hold it against them...I just miss those special things Mom used to do with me.
