Altar supplies: Altar Supplies: Incense, censer, chalice of H20, salt, pentacle, dagger, 4 element candles, cauldron, chalice of wine, bell. White candle on left of cauldron, green candle on the right of cauldron.

1. Cast Circle of protection:

a. Visualize my hand creating a circle of light and energy. Silver- Blue flame.

Beginning in the East

Walk clock-wise around the circle, sprinkling a salt-water mixture. While doing so, say "salt and water by casting thee, no spell nor unknown purpose be, except in true accord with me, and as my will, so mote it be!"

B. Next, take the incense and, beginning in the East, walk clock-wise around the circle, allowing the smoke from the incense to cleanse the circle. While doing so, say, "I banish from this circle, all unclean and evil forces".

C. Walk the circle a second time. ? I cast this circle to protect us from all negative and positive energy and forces on any level that may come to do us harm. I draw into this circle only energies and forces that are right and good for me and the most correct for my work?

D. Walk the circle a third time and say, ?I have created a sacred space. So mote it Be?.

2. Consecrate circle and altar: ?I consecrate this circle of power to the ancient gods. Here may they manifest & bless this child?.

3. Call to Quarters:

A. To the East, I invite the powers of Air To blow out the old and bring in the new on your winds of change. I invite the sprites, the dawn, the spring. I do summon, stir and call you up- come! Be welcome in this rite. Blessed Be.

B. To the South, I invite the powers of Fire To burn away regrets and shine your gentle rays upon me for growth. I invite the firedrakes, the noon, the summer. I do summon, stir and call you up- come! Be welcome in this rite. Blessed Be.

C. To the West, I invite the powers of Water To cleanse me of negativity and purify my thoughts. I invite the mermaids, the twilight, the autumn. I do summon, stir and call you up- come! Be welcome in this rite. Blessed Be.

D. To the North, I invite the powers of Earth let you?re renewing strength bury all ills and open new paths before me. I invite the gnomes, the midnight, the winter. I do summon, stir and call you up- come! Be welcome in this rite. Blessed Be.

4. Add some incense to the censer and say:

Mother earth stirs form her long slumber. The fields and forests hear her whisper to awake. The creatures of her realms answer her summons. Everything waits in anticipation for spring.

5. Tap the altar 3 times gently with wand and say:

This is the festival of the maiden who gives to all the breath of life. This is a time of waxing light and receding darkness. This is a season of purification, a renewing of life. At this time and in this place between the worlds, I come into the presence of the lord and lady that I may gain wise and truthful counsel.

6. Silence- ask god and goddess for inspiration and guidance for the future.

7. Tap the altar 3 times gently with wand and say:

O ancient ones, I know my life-path is within your keeping. Only with your help and guidance can I hope to avoid any pitfalls and reach my destination safely.

8. Light the white candle on the left of the cauldron and say:

I salute the glorious maiden, preparer of new life out of darkness. This is her season of the year-wheel when she spreads her blessings over the land.

9. Light the green candle on the left of the cauldron and say:

Behold, the lord of the forests caresses the dreaming earth. As there is a renewal within the plants and animals, so should there be renewal in my life also.

10. Place the wine chalice on the pentacle and lift it high and say:

Make my life fertile with insight, good health, prosperity and magical power. Honor to the old gods! Merry meet and merry part and merry meet again.

14. Open the circle: Cut the circle with knife and Use hand and walk counter-clockwise beginning at the East and say ?I send this circle into the cosmos to do my bidding, the circle is undone but not broken.
