* Copy the link onto your clipboard, then drag cursor over the picture to hightlight it
* Click on the blue globe in reply toolbar and put cursor in the long empty box then press Ctrl V - the link will appear
* Then click insert and that's it.
you will see that box you are refering to until you send message - but after its sent you will have the link there
Insert the image you want to link...so lets say a smiley face
Click on the smiley face so that you see the boxes surrounding it (yes the resizing boxes)...then go up to the link button..it looks like the globe with the chain links--its the 6th button over from the left on the 2nd row when your looking at your message that your fixing to post.
When you click on that button, a box will pop up it says HTTP: and then a blank box. You can either use the pulldown menu and pick where you want the smiley to link to on your site, or you can type in the www address in that blank box. Then click on insert..your smiley is linked
You should be able to do the above with any image or text that you post. As long as you have the image highlighted correctly (with the white boxes around it) and its still highlighted when you click on the Link button, then it shouldnt be putting your link next to your image. If you do it right, you wont be able to see the link at all..the only way you would see it is by highlighting the image again and clicking back on the link button
