| Good day everyone. Looks like I beat Elaine this morning Guess her rooster is still sleeping. I went to bed early last night because I was having " episodes "all day yesterday an felt really sick I have an appointment today with a Neurologist at 1. Apart from that everything's fine. Eddie is doing better now that the new meds kicked in. Joan I'm sorry I was so late putting anniversay wishes on. I wasn't on computer much because I was sick. Good morning, Joy...you are up early!!! I do the same thing when I go to bed early....Hope you feel better... It's been raining here, all night..Just nice, for winterizing the trailer...LOL...I think it rains every year when we plan this...LOL.. Other than that, not much happening around here..The twins are coming over on Thursday to spend the night...We are looking forward to that.. They asked if we could bake cookies...LOL... It's 1:23 PM..... Too late for Good Morning.. is gonna have to do... Boy, oh Boy.... the time is flying.... Not enough time in a day when you have plans and sometimes when you don't have anything to do, you think the day will never bloody end.... Keep busy everybody. It's much better that way, but you all know that... At most of our ages, our time is moving so darn fast all the time... A couple of young'uns' here have yet to find that out...  Well, I've been spending the morning at making Elaine's pickles.... I had to call Elaine a couple of times.... Couldn't remember exactly how I did it before... ( even with a recipe... See what I mean about age???? ...lol).. Right now, I'm feeling kinda dissappointed... The taste is not there, but maybe it will change once it cools off... All you can taste now is the hot vinegar, but I """ detect"" a little odd taste..( too much mustard.. maybe . We'll see. ) It's raining today... We didn't get much here... Little bit of rain with a few heavy showers, but I know St. John's and Bonavista are having high winds and lots of rain.. Haven't heard the news yet today to find out how much of the island was affected by what was suppose to be a very heavy rain and wind storm... Well, that's all I will be doing today.... Now , I will go and do the normal household crap... and clean up my mess.. Until later....Hugs to Everybody.... |

 TO LATE FOR THE ROOSTER !!!!IT IS 1:48 PM HEAR ...SO I GUESS I WILL JUST SAY A BIG HI !!! Very Very busy today ...there is a store hear that had all there summers thing on sale...all going at $5:00 each ...so that is where i when early this morning ....never got a "DAM" thing all to small.. ...(i know i should have when on a diet ) lol.. i bought a new set of dishes at Kelligrews......guess you all know what was on them (roosters)...most all the morning getting them in place ... like they say a womans work is never done ..... do you think that is true ERIC!!!!!! WELL ENOUGH ABOUT MYSELF ...HOW ARE YOU ALL TODAY?..I SEE CARRIE IS A BUSY WOMAN TODAY MAKING PICKLES .....WTG GIRL .....SAVE ME A BOTTLE ..... GOING NOW TO DO ANOTHER FEW ODDS AND ENDS .....OH MY SOME OF THIS IS IN BIG WORDS AND SOME SMALL ....THAT IS ELAINE FOR YOU ......WHAT THE HELL ....READ IT ANY WAY  TAKE CARE AND CHAT TONIGHT ....I WOULD BE SOMEONE TO WRITE A BOOK !!!!BIG WORDS ...SMALLL WORDS ...AND HALF SPELLED WRONG ... Elaine: You should have told them about the bargain you got... It was at Lawton's Pharmacy and the last day of a Buy One, Get One Free Sale... We just popped by for some toothpaste.... Spotted a 16-piece setting for $50 and , sure enough the second one was with it...FREE!!! . What a deal!!! .... Beautiful colors and a real nice rooster picture on them.... Usually at a pharmacy, things like that are always overpriced anyway, but not these dishes... They are quality ones, high heat resistant , microwave and dishwasher safe .... I felt so happy for Elaine... WE made several phone calls to all the Dominion stores to track down rooster dishes they were selling for $2.99 for the mugs... Not even sure what the asking price on the other pieces were. But even at $2.99 a piece, a 16 piece setting would cost a lot about $50... She got a full setting for 8 for $50,=. You should have seen the sparkle in her eyes and the smile on her face... She just loved them....It's so nice to have been a part of it.. Then we went to Wonderworld.... and got more rooster stuff.... lol. Our Rooster woman is so special... Anyway.... Just wanted to say something and I didn't have anything else to chat about, so I filled you in on that little bit of good news.. | Good Afternoon everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying their day.Joy hope you feel better soon, glad to hear eddy is feeling better. Carrie me dear you are a great women cooking and bottleing the pickles i would not have the time but mind ya now i would love to do stuff like that and give it away to friends. Well Pat another trailer season has come and gone but i am looking foward to to christmas and the big S word stuff. Sorry carrie. I am so happy for Elaine that she found herself some rooster plates, i am on a similar quest i love moo cows as chloe would say i would love to decorate my kitchen in cows. funny huh lol. Well if i am not on here alot i apologize i have been busy alot and its about to get busier cause Tyson Jr starts hockey soon and Mya is in Figure Skating so this is gonna be a fun but yet busy winter for me. But don't worry i will check in when i can i am always thinking of you lovely ladies and gent,can't forget our eric. Just finally getting a chance to check in...I started this room today - I thought I was just going to wash the windows and frames, but then I found places where there was cracks, painted over depressions from the previous owners....I never really noticed these things before because I had been sick for quite a long time as you know, and now that I'm well, I'm getting fed up with the shoddy workmanship and have to correct it. lol I don't mind too much, it keeps me busy which is a good thing, and as Carrie said, it helps the time pass. I may or may not go back at it today - - I'm getting a bit tired. I'm sitting here watching old man winter howling around with Mrs. S just a flying - - Oh well it's to be expected in this neck of the woods.
