Hello Friends... Late getting in here today. The sun is shining and it gives you a boost of energy... Go, Go, Go.... LOL... Actually, on Fridays, I generally do the vacumning and dusting, mop the floors and all that stuff, so I can enjoy a couple of days off. ... just in case I get a chance to go somewhere and do something different. I'd like to with Elaine today, shopping. I don't do much Christmas shopping. Most of the people I give gifts to are in Ontario... and the price of postage dictates to me to send a cheque for the price of a stamp.. and let them do their own shopping. But I'm still reminded of past Christmas gifts when I would shop for months prior to sending.... I am a firm believer in QUANITY rather than QUALITY ... LOL . Not so much now, but when the grands were small, they liked "Quanity" too... Even my daughters would love getting a pile of gifts for the 12 days of Christmas... one or two for each day... I would have them marked for opening.... Some fun!!!!! I guess I'll be able to get some Christmas junk for Baby Zea..but she's still a bit too young yet... Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree..... Well, my cuppa is all gone and I guess that's a hint for me to go too. Take care... Wishing everybody a happy weekend. I'll catch you all later... |

I'm with you Carrie - I bought our little soon to come Granddaughter a little pair of Bum Boots that I couldn't resist - They were on sale for around $6.00, so I put them in a little box that I had, and gave them to Alex to mail. I almost pooped me pants when he came back and said it cost $13.99 to mail. In addition to the cost of mailing, I can't be walking around the mall without my walker and that won't go between the racks sometimes - so - gift certificates from me and my Hubby. I nerver know what to buy anyway. lol How about the rest of you ladies. Do you all go shopping and get stressed - or do you just love to load up of small gifts and gadjets....I'ts hard to buy now anyway with the scare of the lead in childrens' toys and the melamine in milk products. It's very hard to know what to do. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE, AND BE SAFE. |
