I was going to do it Thursday but I was feeling well. Ed is putting a new window in living room today .He's been feeling better too since the new meds.Well gotta run. Have a good day everyone. Joy |

Surprise!!! Look what our Joy has put in under Snags... I was looking for one and found some new entries.. Nice Joy... Thanks Good Morning Folks.... Not a whole lot happening today... Bob is unsure if he will need me when he goes at the wood. If not, even thought it's a bit early yet, I might wrap a few trees or take down the flower pots that are around... I've left the plants in them and in the big planters in the front, even tho' they have all dried up. It kinda looks like it fits in with the Halloween theme. ... Scary... LOL,, but it's been dried up and looking crappy now for so long already, people might think I'm just too damn lazy to do it... Some nice weather coming... maybe next week I'll get to it... Kinda nippy out there just yet.. I emailed Eric to find out why his name is in Chat and no communication. Seems that for the past three nights, he's signed in but nobody else was there . I remember that happening to me some time ago... Something about a different address.??? .. Joy or anybody else that has happened to , can you give Eric some pointers???. Would hate to lose our Sir Eric.. Well, Enjoy your day everybody.... Sorry you wernt' in the Christmas mood yestereday Elaine... You need some SNOW. ( There , I said the bad 'S' word). Glad to hear that things are normal at your home Joy... Always nice to hear that... Take care everybody.... Toodle - Lou |

Every day is caturday in this house....Really Cute Joy: I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better and that Eddy is as well. Well - we went up to Home Depot and got the wall paper for the parlour - it is beautiful. We are going to get back into action on Monday - we've been lazing around long enough. lol I'm still fighting a bit of a bug - I usually do get a COPD attack this time of year, but it's not too bad.....And actually I don't know if I told you guys, but I haven't been on oxygen for all of this year so far. YAY Well - gotta go do my blood sugars, inject my insulin and get me supper. Have a great night. LOVE AND GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU ALWAYS! |

WEll, it's the first I've heard about you not needing oxygen so far this year. Excellent!!! Lots of Good News happening here lately.. I know what you mean about this time of year for anybody with COPD. Some years ago, I had to have an inhaler.... I think it saved my life.. It was the first year after I quit smoking. I had a weight gain. Couldn't walk or breath worth a damn. .. Even this year I had to use it when I was moose hunting., even tho'it's outdated... The cold air really contributed to the inability to walk to the area we hunted. .. . It's the only time of year that I might, or might not use it..., so I know exactly what you mean... Congratulation smy friend... I'm sure every good thing you do contributes to your good health.....Keep up the good work... ((Hugs)). |

Well Frannie me duckie.....I think I told you I had been on life support for 5-1/2 days and another 5 days in the general population - Naturally, when one is off smoking for that long, one would be a fool to pick up a cigarette again. That was October, 2004.....I gained 50 pounds and even though I lost 35 - it's been stagnant for a long time now. I thought I had mentioned that I was off the oxygen.....My respiratory specialist suggested I wean myself off it, and he sent me for COPD rehab He actually wanted me to go to Toronto for a 5 week rehab and I said no, so he sent me to a rehad at RVH and I'm so grateful because that also got me connected with my wonderful diabetes counsellor....So - - the good Lord killed two birds with one shot and said "Joanie, it's your time for healing". We just finished supper - we got a Mr. Sub and had it with home made turkey soup - UUMM good. |
