Joan asked me to post this picture of her parlour. It looks beautiful. Great job Joan and Alex. It's nice to see the end result of all your hard work. Joy | |

hahaha - Elaine - leave it to you to find a rooster. That mat is actually for the catties....They love those coconut mats for scratching, etc., and the rooster is great. Thanks everyone - I'll take some pictures of the kitchen and dining room soon. They've been done for quite awhile now, but we were having camera problems. NEEDED TO REPLACE BATTERIES DUH - some stund. |

Such a welcoming looking room and who would know any better then this lucky gal... Yep... Sat there, chatted there, drank there, laughed there and took pictures there, left many fond memories behind there... A lovely, warm room, I don't even know what colors were there... Sorry, all I seen were smiling faces and pussy cats.. Leave it to Elaine to spot a rooster... I had to go back and find it....LOL. Was that there when we visited Joanie?,,, Well, I've spent most of the day bottleing beet. I have enough for the winter now... I don't know why I even do it.. Not that beet are pricy and a large bottle is in the fridge for 6 -8 weeks before they are all used... Well, not quite finished yet... I'm going to buy a smaller quanity and do for Bob... minus the vinegar..., but he'll eat the regular ones when he wants to.... Contrary ole' men and their stomachs.. Today was just perfect and I had to spend too much of it in inside... After finishing the beet , I had to go lie down for an hour until the meds kicked in... Contrary ole' women and their backs... Hoping to see my one and only boy shortly... He got in today despite the odds...I'm so glad for him.... He misses so much with that beautiful little baby growing up so fast , but he'll get to see her dressed in her Halloween costume... A pleasant change from looking at photos. Take care everybody.... I'm going to make this my Thursday post as well as replying to Joan about her lovely work. Hoping to make Chat a bit early tonight...., but I never know until the time comes Bye.. |

Hey Frannie me duckie.....No - we got the rooster a couple of months ago....The cats kept going out into the mud room to scratch and play on the mats, so we bought them one for in the parlour - like a couple of old fools that we are. lol The colour of the walls is the same as when Joy and Sharon and Eddy visisted, and when you and Bob and Susie visited. The wallpaper is new - on the wall in the picture and the wall where the rocking chairs are. We'll put the pictures up tomorrow - but not what was up there - just our big ones. Have a great nights - Loves Ye - and you - Miss Frannie - take care of that back and foot...Listen to me - I'm older - hahahaha |
