Well, I hope Joy sees this post... I was just 'threatened".. ..lol
Recently, any computer time I have has been directed to my "First" group.... My First group is something like your 'firstborn'.... No matter how many follow, nothing can recreate the original feeling of ownership, belonging, sharing, or whatever!!!!  ...
I will be happy to see my older friends from my original group all settled in and involved in a nice warm cozy chat.. My manager there ,Karen, is being tutored by Joy... What a pair of Ladies I am blessed to know... Nobody could ever wish to be guided in internet group changeovers and challenges by any two better people..
I still don't know how to get rid of these annoying smileys, even tho' ( just looking at me and bouncing all over the page) I brought them here and I have chosen the ones I want.... Now.... Go Away Smileys.. I know I will lose this post to.... Been happening all day... Bummer!!!
OK Joy: I've posted. Are ya' happy now??? lol .... *** Karen. Newfies is a special group of people.... We all have our roots in this province of Newfoundland, Canada.... Please don't think my response to Joy is out of line or character for me.... Like I said, we all feel like sisters here and just like sisters, we bicker, sometimes... ""
In case you don't know what "bicker' is , it's jsut our little way of saying we truly love and respect each other.. Joy threatens me.... I respond.... (with love)... lol ... Just the natural progression of friendship here....
Hope your stay with this group is enjoyable, ( I hope you are reading this Karen) Joy is probably pulling her hair out trying to get us safely to a new home... I'm sure you will be challenged by the same problems once HHK members begin to come on line. I know I speak for Joy and every other member of our small group... thank you for checking us out.. Hopefully, you will enjoy your stay here and after Joy has helped you with some of the challenges ,maybe you'll even drop by occasionally, to say Hi to us...

I also want to let Karen know, that along with my 'sisters' in this group, is also a ""Big Brother"" ( I just hope he forgives me for not mentioning him in my first post..,). Karen: He has all the qualities of " ilvjim" . He is a very wise man and has a sense of humor that is so special.... We all love him. Am I forgiven Eric ( Erb), whoever you are today? Our group would not be complete without this man.. Hope you get to meet him in Chat. He never says very much, but his one-liners leave us all smiling.... lol I hope whoever moves my top post will also move this along with it.... .. I have to get that problem resolved and fast.... ...
