Throwing a few things in an overnight bag today..For those of you who don't know it, I'm heading to the Bonavista area tomorrow morning. Just outside Bonavista region, is a Pond that Bob is interested in with regard to getting a piece of Crown Land. Just going over to check out the region and well, Naturally, we have to go and visit our buddies..

Last week, I responded to a Freecycle post about a truck load of items suitable for a yardsale/fleamarket stuff. Well, last night we drove to get it... She wasn't kidding! Totally filled up the van with cartons and bags.. I dropped it of at the neighbours before we came home... Through her I met a family who is teaching their adopted mentally challenged 25 year old boy to learn the value of money, to make change, and to interact with people. To do that, they have weekly garden sales and friends and neighbours are very generious to them, plus the parents follow these sales themselves for him.. I know he is gonna be one happy camper when he gets to Kelligrews to pick it up... They live farther around the bay and only come this way ever so often... Makes you feel good to do something nice for somebody else... I told the lady she should also feel very good... She was glad to get clear of it all... lol
Anyway... Just had a call from Number One son and he needs his Mommy to babysit for a couple of hours... I was going to throw together a "deadly' pineapple, coconut carrot cake to take with me.. Oh Well, Not enough time now to do that... Sorry Elaine... I'll being you the recipe ....LOL...
