Bring first four ingredients to a boil ( water , raisans, apricots, sugar )and simmer 15-20 minutes, drain water. Cream butter, sugar and cheese. Add eggs and vanilla and continuing beating. Fold in flour and baking powder. Add fruit mixture. Pour into a bundt pan. Bake 350 for one hour, reduce heat to 275 for 3/4 to 1 hour.
