A:  To discourage a new baking tin from rusting, rub it inside and out with lard and place it in an oven at moderate heat for approximately 45 minutes.. When cool, wipe thouroughly with a paper towel.
 
B:  To remove rust from tinware, rub with half a raw potato that has been dipped in scouring powder... rinse and then dry - ideally in an oven.
 
Hmmmm... I have a couple rusty pans that I 'm gonna try the potato trick on...

      THAT ONE ABOUT THE BAKING PAN FROM RUSTING!!!!

We I 'll have to try that too. I got some rusty bread pans. The other one to keep pans from rustin, that's what I hae to do with my cast iron pans. Okay whoever tries the potato thing first post here and let us know how it worked.

Your pans and your cast iron pan Joy spray it with PAM after every use and it will never rust again.
